Join us for an exploration of the updated Arkansas Social Studies Academic Standards. This session will examine the organization of the new social studies standards documentation, including how to leverage grade-level standards and develop an awareness of associated legislative requirements and upcoming course shifts. The focus is to review new components within the Arkansas Social Studies Academic Standards document, with emphasis on the addition of target vocabulary, the inclusion of a social studies glossary, special considerations, and available resources.
