2025-2026-DESE-Women's Rights are Human Rights



Location: MacArthur Military Museum, 503 E. 9th Street, Little Rock, AR 72202

In partnership with the Clinton Presidential Library, the MacArthur Military Museum, the ESSE Purse Museum and Economics Arkansas, this in-person 6-hour workshop will focus on women's history in the United States with a particular emphasis on the suffrage movement and the pursuit of financial independence. Participants will have an opportunity to visit the MacArthur Military Museum's Women's Suffrage Exhibit and the ESSE Purse Museum Collection. In addition, participants will be provided with topical resources and activities that can be integrated into their social studies curriculum and as part of the America250 celebration.
