SCSC-Differentiation: A Tiered Approach

This workshop is more than the average overview of differentitated instruction. In this workshop we will come to understand why assessment is an essential component of DI and explore specific ways to assess students' content mastery. We will explore specific ways to manage the differentiatied classroom and small groups, understand how the learning environment supports the differentiatted classroom and examine a learning goal and ways to tier assignments to differentiate the content. TESS components addressed for this workshop include: 1E, 1F, 2B,3B, 3C, & 3D

Important Session Information:

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants will pay the listed fee. All professional development (PD) sessions require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum number is not met; the PD session will be canceled two weeks prior to the event. Registrants for the session will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price of the session(s) not attended. No credit will be awarded until the fee is paid.
