SCSC-Digging Deeper into the ACT Aspire Writing Expectations: 4th, 7th, and Early High School Analytical/Expository

As educators know, we must teach to our standards, but it is important to prepare our students to address prompt writing. In this hands-on training, teachers will discuss strategies for prompt writing, create and discuss student-friendly rubrics, practice scoring to a rubric, and create analytical/expository writing prompts. These resources will be shared via Google with all workshop participants. Since all writing genres are addressed at multiple grade levels, this workshop is available to all teachers. TESS components addressed for this workshop include: 1F, 3D, 4D, & 4E.
