SCSC-Transition Planning: Considerations for Students on the Autism Spectrum and Students with Intellectual Disabilities



This training will look at factors that impact students with more significant disabling conditions and the steps that should be considered in the Transition process. Tools and resources will be provided to assist in the Transition Plan development. TESS components addressed for this workshop include: 1B, 1D, 3A, 4C, and 4F.

Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. All professional development (PD) sessions require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum number is not met; the PD session will be canceled two weeks prior to the event. Registrants for the session will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price of the session(s) not attended. No credit will be awarded until the fee is paid.
