SCSC - Intro to Computer Science Standards K-4



Need ideas for integrating and embedding the new Arkansas Computer Science Standards? Wonder what coding is? This workshop will provide an introduction to the new computer science standards for k-4 and look for ways to incorporate coding into your classroom, as well as resources to use with your students. TESS components addressed for this workshop include: 1E, 3C, and 4E.

Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. All professional development (PD) sessions require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum number is not met; the PD session will be canceled two weeks prior to the event. Registrants for the session will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price of the session(s) not attended. No credit will be awarded until the fee is paid.
