SCSC -Level II Dyslexia Screeners Training
In this training, participants will learn how to give four of the norm-referenced assessments that are a part of the Level II dyslexia evaluation process. Participants will learn how to score the assessments, interpret the data based on the standard scores, and apply the data as a component of the Level II dyslexia evaluation process in building a characteristics profile. The screeners we will focus on in this training are: CTOPP-2, WRMT-III, GORT-5, and TWS-4. TESS components addressed for this workshop include: 1B, 1E, 3D TESS components addressed for this workshop include: 1B, 1E, and 3D.
Important Session Information:
Participants must be certified/licensed educators. For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants will pay the listed fee. All professional development (PD) sessions require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum number is not met; the PD session will be canceled two weeks prior to the event. Registrants for the session will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price of the session(s) not attended. No credit will be awarded until the fee is paid.
