SCSC-Financial Literacy, Economics and Technology for the Classroom



Free online resources courses to deepen your students' understanding of personal finance, economics, history and other social studies disciplines by incorporating technology into your economics and courses. The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and Economics Arkansas provide free, materials, resources and professional development opportunities to teachers all over the country. Integrate economics into your social studies classroom using technology, printed materials, and one of the most comprehensive sources of economic data in the world. This class must have 10 confirmed registrations two weeks prior to training to make. TESS components addressed for this workshop include: 1D, 1E, 3C, & 3D.

Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. All professional development (PD) sessions require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum number is not met; the PD session will be canceled two weeks prior to the event. Registrants for the session will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price of the session(s) not attended. No credit will be awarded until the fee is paid.
