SCSC - Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor Training Camp – Camden



Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor Training Camp is a one day interactive training for educators, school wellness committee members and Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisors. For those participating at Camden First Assembly of God, 1275 Maul Road, Camden, AR on June 19, 2017, registration will end Wednesday, June 14, 2017. By attending this professional development workshop educators will: • Understand how Fuel Up to Play 60 can be a resource to meet school wellness policy goals. • Attendees will be given the information and tools they need to make the case for healthy eating and physical activity in schools. • Understand how to become a Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisory and complete the Six Steps to achieve Touchdown status. • Learn how to build and empower Fuel Up to Play 60 student teams. • Explore funding opportunities for schools through Fuel Up to Play 60. • Learn how to share your success with Fuel Up to Play 60 and documentation in Indistar. Trainings will be conducted across the state. Registration will be limited for each training. Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. All professional development (PD) sessions require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum number is not met; the PD session will be canceled two weeks prior to the event. Registrants for the session will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price of the session(s) not attended. No credit will be awarded until the fee is paid.
