SCSC - Foundational Skills for Reading Interventionists
This session is for teachers and paraprofessionals that have been trained to provide reading interventions using the Sonday System materials. Important background knowledge regarding the characteristics of dyslexia as well as the reading foundational skills of phonological and phonemic awareness, phonics, and structural analysis will be presented. This training will provide the rationale that supports the Sonday System routines and procedures and enable interventionists to more effectively deliver reading instruction.
