This workshop is appropriate for K-6 grade teachers! Computer science develops students' computational and critical thinking skills and shows them how to create, not simply use, new technologies. This fundamental knowledge is needed to prepare students for the 21st century, regardless of their ultimate field of study or occupation. These workshops will help teachers teach students the fundamentals of computer science or "coding" through the use of FREE, fun, and interactive online puzzles, as well as, hands-on unplugged activities. All participants will receive a swag bag full of goodies as well as a complete curriculum guide. TESS components include: 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E, 2B, & 3C.
