SCSC-Essential Skills of Behavior Part 2- Defining the Target Behavior
Defining the Target Behavior is one of four Essential Skills Trainings that are beneficial to attend prior to any of the Tier 2 trainings being provided throughout the school year. The Essentials will be required in 2018-19 for the development of school district teams that will receive in depth training and coaching toward building local capacity.
Important Session Information:
This 6 hour training is fundamental to the understanding and implementation of successful school-wide and classroom behavior strategies. The information is derived from nearly 50 years of research on individual students with problem behavior and is based on research in Applied Behavior Analysis. Participants will experience a theoretical shift relative to behavior management and behavior change.
For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee.
