The two-day Visualizing and
Verbalizing® (V/V®) workshop focuses on helping students develop concept imagery
for both oral and written language. Through a series of steps, V/V students
learn to create an imaged gestalt and to integrate that imagery with language
as a basis for language comprehension and thinking. The development of concept imagery improves
reading and listening comprehension, memory, oral vocabulary, critical
thinking, and writing. All steps of the program are introduced, practiced, and
modeled.
