NWAESC---Novice Teacher Forum: Fine Arts (K-12)
First year fine arts teachers are invited to join their peers for an afternoon of celebrating successes, sharing concerns/questions, and discussing challenges they are facing in these first couple of months. This will be a time to network with other novices, meet experts in your field who will be there to support you throughout the year, and to learn about online resources for you. This session for drama, music, and visual arts teachers will be led by two arts learning specialists: Dr. Patricia Relph and Sallie Zazal - both of the Walton Arts Center. Participants at the first session learned techniques from the Kennedy Center that will assist in enhancing the work in their classrooms. If you missed the first, you may still come join the group for the second round. Lunch is ready at 11:30, but continues to be available up through the beginning of the session. There is NO cost to your district for this session or for your substitute.
