NWAESC---Novice Teachers' Forum: Career and Technical Education (2246)
First year Career and Technical Education teachers are invited to join Northwest Arkansas's CTE Coordinator, Cheryl Pickering, to learn more about managing that strange environment known as a CTE classroom (so different from your counterparts in other disciplines) and lesson planning - how DO you construct effective lesson plans that are truly connected to the standards you wish to teach? Bring a lesson plan of your own that you will be teaching soon after this date and leave with an updated one, ready to use. Also, bring any classroom management concerns or challenges that you face so that Cheryl and your peers may collaborate with you to identify possible solutions. This will be a most profitable afternoon!
Important Session Information:
Lunch will be ready by 11:30, but available through the start of the class at 12:30. There is no cost for this session.
