NAESC High School Computer Science and Certification Preparation
These trainings are open at no cost to all Arkansas educators, regardless of district ESC affiliation. Participants must register for and attend a combination of Days 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 (all five days, 30 hours) to qualify for the documentation to apply for an approval code #5016 from ADE. This session is to prepare Arkansas educators planning to teach high school computer science and needing assistance passing the Computer Science Praxis Exam. Participants will cover changes in Arkansas 9-12 Computer Science course codes, 2017-2018 Computer Science Standards, Computer Science Fact Sheet, Curriculum Resources and Prep Material to be used for passing the Computer Science Praxis. Participants will need to spend time outside of the training prior to taking the Praxis Exam.
