NEA - Essentials Training 4: Behavior Data Collection Tools

Do you need any tools to help you with collecting behavioral data? Data collection is collecting specific information about a student's performance. Typically we think of this in terms of academic performance. But what about data collection needed for behavior performance measurement? What do we do then? This workshop will help participants: determine the best data collection method based on the type of behavior being measured; use a data collection guide which provides an explanation of each type of data collection method and how to summarize data; and understand basic information for preparing a behavioral graph.

Behavior Data Collection Tools is one of four Essential Skills Trainings that are beneficial to attend prior to any of the Tier II trainings being provided throughout the school year. The Essentials will be required in 2018-19 for the development of school district teams that will receive in depth training and coaching toward building local capacity.
