The Central Arkansas CTE Regional Business Partnership Council brings stakeholders in Business, Industry, Economic Development, Post-Secondary and Career and Technical Education together to discuss employer expectations and the skills needed in today’s workforce. The morning will begin with an opening session with Randy Zook, President of the Arkansas Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Zook will discuss the importance of skilled workers in filling the many jobs that are currently going unfilled in the State of Arkansas and what the job outlook for the next 10-20 years will look like. Occupational specific breakout sessions will follow the opening session with industry panel discussions. This event will meet the ACE requirements for one of the districts' advisory council meetings. Continental breakfast will be provided.
