SCSC - Digging Into ACT Aspire Math Teachers (Grades 6 -8)

This workshop is focused on grades 6 -8 mathematics. As educators know, we must teach to our standards.  It is important to prepare our students to address problem solving, justification and explanation, and mathematical modeling. It is also important to understand how the rigor of our everyday questioning elevates student thinking and growth. In this hands-on training, teachers will discuss strategies for supporting students as thinkers and problem solvers. Resources will be shared via Google with all workshop participants. TESS components addressed for this workshop include:  1F, 3D, 4D, and 4E.

Important Session Information:

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee.
