GFESC - SELF-CONTAINED CLASSROOM BOOT CAMP!

This intensive, two-week training was developed for teachers of self-contained classes, and teachers who work with students that have moderate to severe intellectual disabilities.

The first week will focus on classroom design, rules, visual supports, zoning plans, and para management, with opportunities to create visuals and schedules during Week 1.

The second week will focus on curricular instruction with an emphasis on standards-based, grade-aligned curricula taught with evidence-based practices for this population. Week 2 topics will include early literacy, grade aligned literacy and comprehension, early numeracy, grade aligned math, social studies, and inquiry based science, all taught using principles of applied behavior analysis.

You can register for Week 1 or Week 2.
