SCSC - Mathematical Mindsets Online Book Study



Participants will have the opportunity to join an online study of the text, Mathematical Mindsets, written by Dr. Jo Boaler. Dr. Boaler is a professor of mathematics education at Stanford University.  During this initial three-hour session participants will review the online book study format that will include four bi-weekly online discussion meetings and the completion of an online discussion guide. TESS components addressed for this workshop include: 2B, 3B, 3C, and 3E.

Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price.
