Share your excitement and enthusiasm for computer science by being a lead teacher within your district. This five day (30 hours) professional development is mandatory for educators interested in the Arkansas Department of Education K-8 Lead Teacher Training and Stipend program. Spots will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Participants will not be eligible for any stipends unless they complete all five days.
Participants will receive training on the K-8 computer science embedded standards, methods, materials, and best practices on how to share this knowledge with other K-8 educators working to embed the computer science standards across other content areas. Each Arkansas educator is only eligible for this stipend program once.
