SCSC - Safe Talk- Stop the Bleed



This workshop combines SafeTalk (suicide) and Stop the Bleed (how to assist a victim who is  bleeding). We will learn how to recognize and respond to situations where suicide thoughts may be present and apply the TALK steps: Tell, Ask, Listen, Keep Safe.  Stop the Bleed will help participants to know how to control bleeding and how to assist in emergency situations where victims are bleeding. 

Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price.
