SWAEC- Wellness Committee Updates
This workshop will provide training to personnel involved in school or district level wellness committees in regards to the responsibilities of school Wellness Committees outlined by Act 1220 of 2003 and USDA's Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act. The utilization of the School Health Index to assist in planning and developing of goals for the health and wellness improvement priority will be discussed. In the afternoon we will be working in Indistar on your plans and the SHI. Please bring Indistar passwords and SHI reference number. We will also be showing you how to use the electronic SHI and how to set up zoom for Wellness Committee meetings.
