SCSC - Grasping Phenomenal Science (GPS) for Grades K-4: Navigating from Standards to Instruction



Come experience the vision for K-4 science!  During this two-day opportunity, educators will explore the Arkansas K-4 science standards by engaging in a grade-specific phenomenon based investigation. Student-focused learning through the integration of science, math and literacy skills will be highlighted. Two follow-up PD days will be offered along with opportunities for classroom-level support.  TESS components addressed for this workshop include:  1A, 1D, 1E, 3A, 3E, 4A, and 4E.


Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price.
