SCSC - Grasping Phenomenal Science (GPS) for Grades 9-12 (Biology-Integrated; Physical Science- Integrated; and Chemistry- Integrated): Navigating from Standards to Instruction



Come experience a new vision for the high school science experience! During this three-day opportunity, educators will engage in phenomenon-based investigations aligned to the new Biology - Integrated, Physical Science-Integrated and/or Chemistry-Integrated courses. Student-focused learning through the application of science.  NOTE: Participation in all three days of this session meets the ADE requirement for Pre-Advanced Placement Science (Pre-AP) teacher certification or recertification.  Two follow-up PD days will be offered.  TESS components addressed for this workshop include:  1A, 1D, 1E, 3A, 3E, 4A, and 4E.

Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price.
