SCSC-Ignite Oral Language and Vocabulary in Your Classroom and Reading Sparks Will Fly!



Come and get really interactive with us as we focus on how vocabulary and oral language develop in young children as well as the role that teachers play to promote vocabulary breadth and depth! What is systematic and explicit oral language instruction and what does it look like and sound like in the classroom? The instructional components of a literacy schedule will be discussed through conversation on how to embed this instruction with engaging and multi sensory activities found in the preschool, kindergarten, first, and second grade classroom.

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee.
