AFESC--Creating a Collaborative Learning Culture and Improving Student Learning through Student Voice

Research suggests that students are seven times more likely to be academically motivated if they feel they have a voice in the learning process.  This session will equip school administrators, teachers, and students with a process to engage students as partners in every facet of the school culture, close the achievement gap, and strengthen the learning culture where teachers and students work collaboratively.  The facilitators will share research that shows how student voice increases student purpose, engagement, self-worth, and achievement.

Students are strongly encouraged to attend with school teams.
