DAY 1: Simply administering DIBELS (ANY INITIAL SCREENER) is not enough. We must dig deeper to find weaknesses in the underlying subskills and determine where the intervention(s) will be targeted. This training will focus on analyzing DIBELS and other screening data and how to align interventions to those results.
DAY 2: After you analyze your DIBELS, it's time for interventions. Students may need interventions from phonemic awareness all the way through oral reading fluency. This training will focus on interventions using auditory, visual, tactile, and kinesthetic modalities especially for phonological/phonemic awareness, letter identification, and decoding.
PLEASE BRING YOUR MOST CURRENT DIBELS OR OTHER INITIAL SCREENING DATA TO ANALYZE ON DAY 1.
