WDMESC: 6+1 Traits of Writing
6+1 Traits of Writing is an analytical tool that develops a common language among educators, parents, and students. It promotes a clear understanding of what makes “good” writing. In this training, participants learn the specific criteria of each trait which can be used to strengthen writing. 6 + 1 Traits of Writing is used all over the world in subject areas such as mathematics, science, social studies, foreign language, and special education----anyone for whom writing is an important part of instruction.
