Planning is essential to teaching and learning. Even more important than having a plan in place is having and knowing the purpose of the plan. This workshop will focus on planning with the end in mind, as well as aligning standards, instruction, and assessment with Depth of Knowledge in mind. Teachers will gain a deeper understanding of why planning purposefully is vital to students learning. In addition, teachers will leave with a template (either found and borrowed or self-created) to guide their purposeful planning fro the upcoming school year.
