OUR Teaching Gifted in the Secondary Content Classes
This workshop will provide teachers of secondary content areas with the tools needed to create differentiated lesson plans in their content area. All teachers of math, science, social studies, and/or english, that are not AP or Pre-AP trained, who attend this workshop and submit a completed lesson plan demonstrating differentiation, will receive a certificate of training that fulfills the requirements of services at the secondary level for gifted students. Differentiation strategies and gifted service requirements at the secondary level will be the focus of this training. This workshop does NOT certify teachers in Pre-AP.
