NAESC K-6 Writing Work Session
In this session, K-6 teachers will have an opportunity to work on planning writing curriculum and instruction for the upcoming year. We will explore the necessary elements of best practice, and work to develop a writing scope and sequence for the school year that is tailored to each classroom or campus. We will also explore incorporating ACT Aspire writing modes and prompt writing instruction throughout the school year, so teachers and students can be fully prepared for ACT Aspire without sacrificing the other elements of writing instruction that help them become college and career ready.
