GREC-Forrest City-Increasing Student Engagement



Have you been instructed that you need to get your students more involved in learning?  Have you been told that your students are not attentive in class?  Well, this workshop was designed with you in mind.  In this fun and interactive workshop, you will be equipped with strategies and activities that can be used to increase student engagement to higher levels.  Participants will be introduced to Kahott, clock buddies, debate, personality tests, and other activities that will help to get your students actively involved in learning.    You will leave with the resources needed to implement these activities and strategies in your classroom immediately.

Important Session Information:


TEACHERS NOT WORKING UNDER CONTRACT WITH THE SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN THE GREAT RIVERS CO-OP AREA WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST.  YOU MAY CONTACT GREAT RIVERS 24-48 HOURS BEFORE THE WORKSHOP TO CHECK FOR AN OPENING.  YOU WILL BE CHARGED A $25.00 FEE PER DAY, $15.00 PER HALF DAY TO ATTEND WORKSHOPS AT GREAT RIVERS.  PLEASE REMEMER THAT IF YOU REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP AT GREAT RIVERS AND DO NOT ATTEND AND DO NOT CANCEL AHEAD OF TIME, YOUR DISTRICT WILL BE BILLED FOR EACH WORKSHOP YOU FAIL TO ATTEND WITHOUT CANCELING.  IF YOU CAN NOT CANCEL ON LINE PLEASE CALL GREAT RIVERS AT 870-338-6461.
