NEA - Teaching Children of Poverty

This event will provide a foundation in neuroscience for the possible impact of poverty on the brain and on school success, along with research based strategies that can be used by teacher and leaders to support the under-resourced children and families they serve.  This will meet the parental involvement requirement for 2018/2019.

If you are not under contract with the Northeast Arkansas Education Cooperative or one of our 14 member districts, you will be responsible for all fees related to this workshop.  The fee for this workshop is $50.  Payment is expected the day of the training unless prior arrangements have been made.
