A Taste of Robotics

Has your middle school been thinking about adding a robotics program, but you are not sure even how to start? This session is perfect for robotics newbies. I have been coaching robotics for a few years now and have successfully taken teams to compete at the state level each year. I will give an overview of what is involved in running an FLL Robotics program/team. We will talk about how to get started, how to build and program robots, discuss all the parts of the FLL Robotics competition, and even look at some of the associated costs. I hope to bring some of my middle school robotics students to help so that by the end of the session you will be coding a robot to run a challenge mission.
