NWAESC(2095)---Building Your Toolkit for Instructional Coaching and Mentoring
In this session, mentors, teacher leaders, instructional factilitators, and building level leaders will learn the basics of coaching and mentoring educators for positive school transformation. Strategies will go beyond just direct conversations and will include tools for teacher-led, student-centered coaching. We will focus on the framework set forth in Elena Aguilar's book The Art of Coaching and Laura Lipton's and Bruce Wellman's book Mentoring Matters.
Participants will receive a copy of each of the books and will receive school-based support throughout the school year.
