NAESC Teaching Gifted in the Secondary Course Content
Differentiation of core content for gifted learners will be the topic of this 6-hour professional development session. All teachers of mathematics, science, social studies or English serving identified gifted students who have not been Pre-Advanced Placement or Advanced Placement trained in their content area MUST attend this entire State required workshop for completion of the training. A certificate of attendance will be provided for documentation of this approved in-service workshop requirement after a lesson plan has been submitted. Participants will need to bring laptops and any other content material needed for writing lesson plans. Domain 1 and 3.
