AFESC--Through the Eyes of Poverty

This 6-hour PD is designed to help participants gain knowledge on the current research of families in poverty and how to engage students in learning and improving their overall performance in school, from grades to behavior. The PD will also help you meet your parental involvement requirement by giving you knowledge on how to recognize families of poverty and ways to address their needs and involvement in their child’s education. This is a repeat workshop from last year with some added strategies.
