R.I.S.E. Academy is a two year-long blended learning professional development. Designed specifically for educators of grades 3-6, this training offers participants the opportunity to learn about the science of reading and how to provide effective core instruction as well as support for struggling readers through explicit and systematic instruction for word recognition, vocabulary, and comprehension. Participants will complete two days this summer and one follow-up day in the fall, and two days 2019 summer, with a follow-up day in the fall of 2019.
** R.I.S.E. 3-6 is also appropriate for teachers in grades 7-8.
