NWAESC(2246)---Transforming School Culture

Discover the underlying tensions that impact school culture by identifying four different types of educators: Believers, Fundamentalists, Tweeners, and Survivors. After discussing the prevailing beliefs and assumptions of these groups, and arguing that the outcome of their collective dynamic ultimately determines the culture of a school, Dr. Muhammad shows you specific strategies for working with each group in order to create positive change.  TRANSFORMING SCHOOL CULTURE will provide a framework for understanding how school cultures operate and how leaders can overcome staff division to improve relationships and transform toxic cultures into healthy ones.   Dr. Muhammad will provide specific strategies for working with the various groups of educators to transform school culture and intentionally create positive atmospheres that not only tolerate change, but seek and embrace the changes that maximize organizational effectiveness.  Lunch is included.
