The Code of Ethics for Arkansas Educators defines the minimum standards of ethical conduct for all educators. The presenter from the Professional Licensure Standards Board (PLSB) will explain what it means to be an ethical educator and abide by the Code of Ethics for Arkansas Educators.
Effective August 1, 2018, an educator prepared through an alternative educator preparation program must complete approved ethics training BEFORE a provisional license is issued to the educator. The training consists of two separate components and must be approved by the Professional Licensure Standards Board.
**This will count as Part II of the required ethics training.**
There is no charge for teachers in the Novice Teacher Mentoring Program at Southeast Education Service Cooperative.
