Middle school teachers are implementing the new Arkansas Grades 5-8 Science Standards. As a science team, we want to offer teachers the opportunity to participate in a regional professional learning community specific to one content area. The cadre will concentrate on formative assessment and planning lessons for three-dimensional learning. Specialists from Wilbur D. Mills Cooperative, Harding University STEM Center and Crowley's Ridge Cooperative will facilitate these sessions. TESS Components: 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e.
Attending both days of the cadre throughout the year will be best for teachers wishing to hone in on their skills and understanding of the new 3D standards.
