R.I.S.E. Academy is a year-long blended learning professional development. The training will provide educators with an in depth knowledge related to the science of reading, evidence-based instructional strategies, and making data-based decisions for ALL students. Day 4 will equip teachers with a better understanding of the individual yet supportive skills that together contribute to reading ability, as covered in the previous chapters on the five components, participants will now learn about the often neglected and misunderstood component- fluency.
