High school teachers are beginning their implementation of the new Arkansas High School Science Standards. As a science team, we want to offer teachers the opportunity to participate in a regional professional learning community specific to one content area. The cadre will concentrate on formative assessment and planning lessons for three-dimensional learning. Specialists from Arkansas State University, Crowley’s Ridge Cooperative, Northeast Cooperative, and Wilbur D. Mills Cooperative will facilitate these sessions. TESS Components: 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e
Attending all 4 days of the cadre throughout the year will be best for teachers wishing to hone in on their skills and understand the new 3D standards.
