NWAESC---TALENTS: Novice Special Educators PLC - Day 1 (2246)
Year One and Two Novice Special Education Teachers will meet to spend the day learning various ways to more effectively manage their classrooms, help their students develop a culture of rapport and learning, and to have their questions answered by two highly qualified, experienced special educators. This first day with novices will also introduce them to The Beginning Teacher's Field Guide, the text with which they'll work all year to improve their skills in the classroom. The follow-up to this book will be both online (through Google Classroom) and in 3 subsequent face-to-face sessions throughout the year. Each participant will receive a copy of The Beginning Teacher's Field Guide. Lunch is included.
