Day 2 of the RISE 3-6 training is a continuation of the RISE 3-6 training for the 2018-2019 Cohort.
Designed specifically for educators of grades 3-6, this training offers participants the opportunity to learn about the science of reading and how to provide effective core instruction as well as support for struggling readers through explicit and systematic instruction for word recognition, vocabulary, and comprehension.

IMPORTANT SESSION INFORMATION:
Participants are asked to bring their professional texts (Fundamentals of Literacy Instruction and Assessment PreK-6, and Words: Integrated Decoding and Spelling Instruction Based on Word Origin and Word Structure) and their journals to the training if the text has already been provided. If not, participants will receive text at the training.
