GFESC - PARA-PRO TOT FOR DISTRICT RN'S



Required training for district RN's.  Training of trainer for the training and oversight of para-professionals in schools.  No RN can train school faculty or staff without first attending and becoming certified through this training of the trainer course.  Medicaid requires that all Para-Pro's attend the training the RN in the district will be instructed on providing in this training of the trainer course.  Districts CANNOT bill Medicaid or personal care/para-pro services without having trained them on subjects taught in this workshop.

Important Session Information:


NO COST TO PDC DISTRICTS.  Lunch will be provided.

MATERIALS REQUIRED: Special Health Care Needs Manual from Coordinated School Health website; care plans; materials needed to teach required skills to your para's.  Ex: catheter, transfer board, stander, etc.
