SCSC- Grasping Phenomenal Science: STEM Integration in Grades 3-4
Are you struggling to find time in the school day to teach science? Are you interested in creating lessons that strategically combine literacy with science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)? Science and literacy are a natural combination that advances reading comprehension, constructing explanations, and writing claims supported by evidence. Come experience how standards-based, literacy-embedded science instruction will optimize your instructional time.
TESS components addressed for this workshop include:
1E, 2B, and 4E.
Important Session Information:
For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee.
