SCSC-Take a Mental Health Day



"Take a Mental Health Day" is a one-day conference which includes national and state level speakers. Topics include: childhood trauma, social emotional support strategies,  mental health, and more. National speaker and author Dave Opalewski will provide the morning keynote address titled "Fostering Emotional Wellbeing in a Changing Society". The afternoon is full of breakout sessions and vendor visits.  Participants should sign in for the conference beginning at 8:00 am.  TESS components addressed for this workshop include:  1B, 2D, 4C & 4E.



Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price. You may email anna.warriner@scscoop.org in the event you cannot attend the morning of the workshop.
